School Structure & Themes

1. The Program Provides Activities That Promote On a Daily Basis:

a. Language education by statements of happenings, songs, stories, poems and weather, birthdays

b. Cognitive/sensory learning by stimulation of the senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch;

c. Gross motor skills;

d. Fine motor skills; and

e. Tummy time.

2. TEACHERS FOLLOW A REGULAR DAILY SCHEDULE

Teachers promote children’s in active play and share with other children

a. Indoor and outdoor;

b. Quiet and active;

c. Large group, small group and individual; and

d. Large muscle and small muscle.

3. STAFF PROMOTE CHILDREN’S ACTIVE PLAY AND PARTICIPATE WITH CHILDREN

When physically able to do so for at least an hour each day. The indoor and outdoor environments are utilized for all children to engage in physical activity each day.
